The position
As Logistics Team Lead, you advise the organisation in the design phase on logistics and warehousing matters. As part of your responsibilities, you will build a team and culture of highly professionals who can support the project tracks on logistics solutions.
Together with a network of internal and external Logistic experts, you will take lead in ensuring our design of flows will be as simple and efficient as possible, with respect for health and safety as well as the production process. You are a trusted advisor to management and hence feel confident when presenting to larger audiences, both within the project organisation but for externals contractors or visitors.
You will build and lead a team ensuring the right competences throughout the project and securing the right development to have a fully functional team when we go into production. Further you will be driving process optimization for logistics and warehousing in close collaboration with our IT/OT team and the Track responsible. It is key to have a high focus on standardization and quality.
Finally, you should be a profound practitioner of systematic problem-solving. Ideally, you facilitate the problem-solving of others but are also capable yourself to collect and analyse data, to hence draw the right conclusions from a given situation allowing us to prevent dangerous situations from unfolding.
About you
To be considered for this position, you should:
- Have 5+ years of professional experience working with Logistics and Warehousing
- Hold as a minimum a bachelor's degree in any relevant academic discipline
- Have experience from a leadership role
- Being motivated by developing teams
- Good understanding of process flows in relation to supplies for production
- Good stakeholder management understanding ideally from larger companies or complex projects
- Have profound insight into systematic problem-solving
- Master English proficiency (verbal and written)
