Head of Human Resources – Southeast Asia, South Asia

Responsibilities: As the Head of Human Resources, you will be responsible for the following:
HR Strategy: Partner with leadership teams and local HR teams to implement optimal organisational structures, drive change initiatives, and ensure compliance with corporate HR policies and local legislation. You will also contribute to international HR strategy, ensuring alignment with the needs and strategic plans of the region.

Succession Planning & Talent Acquisition: Utilise talent and succession planning tools to manage the internal talent pipeline and facilitate development opportunities for high-potential individuals. You will also be responsible for managing the recruitment process, conducting job evaluations, and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation and benefits offerings.
Learning & Development: Forge strong partnerships with the regional Learning & Development teams to drive the regional learning strategy and deliver competency development programs. Additionally, you will develop coaching abilities among leaders and facilitate leadership events and workshops.
Compensation & Benefits: Partner with corporate Total Rewards and HR Operations teams to administer compensation and rewards programs, and ensure regulatory compliance of benefit plans. You will also consult with leaders on compensation decisions and support relocation processes.
Labour & Employee Relations: Manage employee relations across the cluster, ensuring compliance with local labor legislation and regulations. You will also represent the company in the community and with local agencies, and manage employee data and record keeping.
Relationships: Foster collaboration with HR Operations teams, Centers of Excellence, and Enterprise organisations to ensure alignment of HR processes and programs. You will also develop a broad network of contacts and maintain long-term relationships with industry influencers and consultants.
Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Higher education qualification in HRM or a similar field.
- Significant experience as a Business Partner in a global or international company, preferably with experience in multiple and geographically dispersed locations.
- Current working knowledge of employment law and extensive experience in consultation processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR disciplines and experience in managing payroll outsourced providers.
- Excellent leadership, facilitation, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
